Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Oh I hope you’re doing great today as we’re coming from the biggest and most important weekend ever in the year. Wow what a weekend it has been wow-I’ve learnt and worshiped my God so much that I want to do it again. This weekend wasn’t only about going to church but also brought families together to bond and reconcile.
Family is important and most of us want to have a beautiful prospering family and some grew up without their families and now all they want is to have a family that will love them and appreciate them as they are. It is important to have a family because it gives you a background and roots with a sense of belonging that pushes you to work hard in life so you can make them happy, family fills a certain void inside that can only filled by a family. It is essential to be a family that is rooted in Christ Jesus, a family that serves Christ is bonded and knitted together through The Lord Jesus Christ. Joshua 24:15: "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord, when a family serves the Lord life becomes fruitful because serving on its own calls for personal growth and when doing it as a family it becomes more fruitful, the family stands and their bond is strengthened and the love in the family is strengthened through the Lord.

Colossians 3:13: "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
1 Peter 4:8: "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."
Psalm 133:1: "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!"
Ephesians 4:2: "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
Exodus 20:12: "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."
Ephesians 6:1: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right."
Proverbs 17:6: "Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children."
Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Genesis 2:24: "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."
Joshua 24:15: "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."
Psalm 127:3: "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward."
Today we are not going to spend a lot of time together as we’ve made plans with our families, may you have a good relaxing fun day with your family.
Let’s pray Father Lord Jesus Christ, we thank you for beautiful families and the love you’ve given to our families- Lord Jesus Christ may your protection and love continue to rain unto our families so we may continue to faithfully serve you as we pray for those who are seeking to have families, Lord may you bless them with families that will love and appreciate them as they are, Lord we thank you today for loving us as you died for us on the cross and we say “Amen and Amen”.
